What about Golden Irish...
GENERAL
Golden Irish - a mix between an Irish Setter and Golden Retriever (both purebreds). These are called hybrid dogs because they originate from two different pure breeds. They are medium in size and stand approximately 22 - 26 inches and weigh between 65-75 pounds. Golden Irish dogs have an alertness about them; they are intelligent and very social-able, varying in different colors.
COLOR
The colors that these hybrids sport the most is red and yellow. Because we use a white English Cream Golden Retriever as the sire, our puppies tend to be more on the buff side of color.
COAT
These dogs tend to have more of a long and silky coat that needs very little grooming to keep it clean and free of matting-- mainly on the tail and underneath side.
PERSONALITY
The Golden Irish dogs are friendly, intelligent and even tempered. They are very pretty looking and trustworthy. These dogs are very good with children and make good play mates. They also get along well with other dogs and pets in the family but socialization is necessary. These hybrids are friendly to guests. They tend not to be as good for guard dogs due to lack of natural assertive behavior. They are affectionate and loving dogs who like human company. These dogs are good family and companion dogs.
